Difference Between Banned Websites and Penalized Websites
Website Banned by Google and Website Penalized by Google both are completely different.
Penalized Websites
penalized sites are not banned by Google. If Google penalize your website, you will loose website ranking on your targeted keywords but Google will not unlisted your website from the search engine. If you search site:yourdomain.com, you will get all the indexed pages.
Always keep in mind that if Google Penalized your website, then your site would not rank for the keyword “yourdomain” at least on the first page but it will rank for “yourdomain.com”.
Banned Websites
If Google banned your website, you will not only lost the ranking Google will unlisted your website as well as remove all the Index pages from the search search engine. If you search site:yourdomain.com, you will not get any index pages on the search result.
So, if you ever loose your website ranking on the Google search engine, don’t think your website is banned by Google, your website may be penalized by Google. Just check and confirm yourself.
